Kim and Jamie outdid themselves with the Christmas gift they got us, a jazz dinner cruise aboard the Creole Queen! Forcing us to play tourist in our backyard was such a great idea! Jojo’s parents came in town for Memorial Day so we decided to turn it into a double date dinner cruise.
Years ago I studied abroad in Australia during college and FELL IN LOVE! We traveled through Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne making the most wonderful memories and experiences. Going back to Australia with hubs will remain on my bucket list so I can show him all the wonderful places that I hold so dearly in my heart.
I get super excited every time I get an order shipping to Australia. It just brings back fabulous happy memories and I secretly hope one of the bride will be like “come to the wedding” giving me an excuse to skip town! Jackson & Stephanie stole my heart wanting a full matching set of basketballs for their groomsmen and everything. But after seeing a handful of pictures from their wedding I’m officially obsessed with this couple!
I love Stephanie’s style and EVERYTHING I’ve seen for their wedding! I feel like we would be besties sharing a closet if we weren’t on opposite sides of the globe!

I love to dance. It just makes me feel better. And it’s more fun when you have people to dance with! On our first date I asked “what’s one skill or talent you wish you had?” my future mister responded with “dance” and I melted. Turns out he’s a complete liar, I begged to go to dance classes before our wedding and that was a huge fiasco!!!! So now I take what I get, like the recent dance party in the kitchen.
Yessica & Landon had a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort. I’ve been there and I can tell you they picked an awesome location! They did a sunset cruise intead of a rehearsal dinner so I have plenty of pictures of this cute couple over the full wedding weekend thanks to LeggyBird Photography.
Happy Friday everyone! If Friday wasn’t enough of a reason to get me perky it is also game day! Pelicans game day! Y’all I’m loving the Pelicans #doitBIGGER hashtag slogan thing. Why? Because one of my very favorites is “DREAM BIG” and I instantly thought ‘that’s the second half! Dream big do it bigger!’ So that’s been rolling around in my head for a while now.
Back in 2016 hubs took me on a trip to Riviera Maya Mexico to celebrate my 30th birthday. In the process of cleaning up Abby (my computer) I had a nistalgic stall over the pictures from the trip and the fun we had zip lining through the Mayan ruins, repelling into the underwater caves, and diving off the cliff into the cool water below. It was also the first stamp in hubs passport! I figured I would let y’all in on the reminencing session with me so here’s some pictures from that adventure and our stay at Hotel Marina el Cid Spa and Beach Resort.
My grand littles, Danielle, came in town for a visit. Her timing couldn’t have been better! The weather was PERFECT and I was much in need of a pick me up from a friend. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I sent Danielle on some outings by herself while I was at work and then we met up to play tourist together in the afternoons and evenings.
