The Knot

Congratulations Stephanie & Jackson

Years ago I studied abroad in Australia during college and FELL IN LOVE! We traveled through Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne making the most wonderful memories and experiences. Going back to Australia with hubs will remain on my bucket list so I can show him all the wonderful places that I hold so dearly in my heart.

I get super excited every time I get an order shipping to Australia. It just brings back fabulous happy memories and I secretly hope one of the bride will be like “come to the wedding” giving me an excuse to skip town! Jackson & Stephanie stole my heart wanting a full matching set of basketballs for their groomsmen and everything. But after seeing a handful of pictures from their wedding I’m officially obsessed with this couple!

I love Stephanie’s style and EVERYTHING I’ve seen for their wedding! I feel like we would be besties sharing a closet if we weren’t on opposite sides of the globe!

XOXO

Congratulations Chris & Naina

I woke up this morning to screenshots that put the biggest smile on my face! Honestly I had completely forgotten about this wedding so I'm glad my sister sent me these! Chris is a football coach and Meg's powerlifting coach back in high school. When Chris & Naina first got engaged my sister obviously wanted to send them a football immediately.

Let me back up a bit before I tell you about the wedding I went to this weekend. The wedding in Detroit was hubs' cousin Lizzy. I'm rather forgetful so at sometime during the summer I wanted to mass order all the upcoming wedding gifts. Lizzy had mentioned at our wedding that she loved the garter football toss and would be copying that for hers. For whatever reason hubs didn't like the idea of sending a football, he wanted to send a crockpot. Fine, crockpot off the registray it's is. When Lizzy called to say thank you she mentioned to hubs that they found an old football in the garage and were going to use it for her garter toss. There it was, hubs had to admit that I was right and a football needed to be shipped out. Problem was that I was completely out of stock of all footballs thanks to the wrong item number being shipped to my house. These footballs has the white panels opposite the laces intease of stacked on one side of the laces. Hubs swore he liked it better with the writing on each side of the laces and begged me to make it that night. Fine, as long as I get to say 'I told you so' while I make it. It shipped out and I didn't really think anything more of it.

When I was in graduate school I shared an apartment with Melanie and 2 other girls. I'm not the best with timely opportunities but this one fell in my lap perfectly. She had just posted a picture on social media announcing her engagement. Knowing first hand she is also a football fan, I knew exactly what I wanted to send for her a congratulations gift. I messaged her to say congratulations and let me know when they decided on a date and colors. Being an overachiever after my heart, she responded with a date and color. I was already working on a football for another couple who wanted the same color. I quickly edited the file to have Melanie's football produced at the same time so I could ship it the next morning. Then one day Melanie tagged me in her engagement pictures! The fact that she loved the gift so much that she incorporated it into her engagement session completely took me back to sharing an apartment with such a sweet group of girls. Thank you to Giddy & Gold for letting us share these beautiful engagement pictures.

When I made this football I happened to have a few spare minutes right after I snapped pictures and packaged it. While I waited for the last of that days packages to be picked up I uploaded and edited all the pictures I had taken throughout the last week. Before marking Jessica's order as complete I sent her a quick message with a picture of her completed football. She was so excited that she beat me to posting it on social media!
