The greatest holiday is here, it is the big carnival weekend! Happy Mardi Gras! I love Mardi Gras because it marks the end of winter and the start for beautiful weather just around the corner. It doesn't hurt that it's treated as a high holiday with schools and businesses closing. Aside from the weather it's always super fun to see the floats going and coming from the production warehouse (a few blocks from where I work). In anticipation of my wonderfully fun 4 day weekend I decided to focus tonight and knock out some work so we can enjoy the rest of this weekends festivities!
I'm quite pleased with tonight's volume of accomplishments so I figured I would share it with you. In case any of you are planning a wedding the current hot colors I see repeated are gold, rose gold, blue, and red. I'm also seeing a lot of bold unexpected color choices like orange and sunshine yellow.
I'm now ready to stuff my face with plenty of king cake while catching some beads!
