Pizza Dude

My mom knows I’m always looking for fun new fresh places to try out and share with y’all here. Saturday when I her one of the first things she told me about was a new pizza food truck that she had recently heard about called NOLAmia! As we were talking I looked them up and saw they were at a location less than 5 minutes from where we were and it was right at lunch time. I quickly grabbed my pawpaw and forced him to tag along as my date to try it out.  

Pawpaw specifically grumbled away the idea of him making an appearance on the blog. Not his thing, he’s a little old school. Which makes you love him even more. But he is very straight forward and tells it like it is so his opinion carries a ton of weight.

Anyway. We went over to Gnarly Barley to try NOLAmia pizza. Our lunch break date didn’t involve any beer tasting so I can’t review that but I can tell you it was a super cute atmosphere they had set up with music and games. Now the pizza we can give a solid review on. It took a little time but it was definitely worth the wait. We got a pepperoni, Greek, and margarita pizza. All three were delicious! The crust is amazing! I especially liked that it wasn’t super greasy. Pawpaw agreed it was amazing and told Meme he had found a new pizza place he would have to bring her to.

Oh and Mom didn’t want to join us but since it was sooooo good and her awesome find we brought her pizza back. She gobbled it up and said it was on point even when cold.
