Hi everyone! I didn’t do my job last weekend and update you on our adventures so I’m doing a double weekend recap. 

Last weekend hubs was in a bass fishing tournament and WON! They had the most total pounds as well as the biggest fish at 5.66 pounds! As always, all of hubs catches were released in the lake behind our house so the neighborhood kids have fish to catch. 

This weekend we took a break from fishing to plan for the fall. Apparently guy hunting trips are a serious thing with lots of planning. I got home Friday to a group of guys meeting to plan their big annual fall hunting trip. Y’all this was serious. Like an Excel spreadsheet with multiple tabs intensity level. 

Saturday we did a little grilling with the neighbors to watch the Kentucky Derby and then went into town to listen to the band lineup at a Conco de Mayo festival. Sunday we did mother’s day with my family and swam in the pool for the afternoon. 

Since it is getting warmer I figured I would share what is in my beach bag. Yes my beach bag stays packed and ready year round with the majority of these items. My favorite sunning necessities are sunbum sunscreen (I use this everywhere except my face), and Elta sunscreen (for my face). The sunbum sunscreen goes on easy and stays put. The Elta sunscreen is perfect for your face because it doesn’t have a greasy feeling after and won’t burn your eyes. 

We like the waterproof Altec speaker the best. It doesn't get overheated as easily as some of the other ones we have gone through.

Post swimming necessity is my bikini bag. This is fabulous to put wet clothes in and prevent everything else from getting wet!​

It is now time to go to bed,​ we have another Monday and week at work to prepare for.
