The Matchmaker
A picture from one of the beautiful moments on our wedding day recently caught my attention and has been constantly on my mind, so I've decided to finally share it.
In March of 2015 we each went to the second birthday party for Lavinnia, the daughter of a John Deere co-worker (my old job / the Mr.'s new job). Unknowingly, we were both invited as a setup by her parents.
The setup worked. By the time Lavinnia's next birthday rolled around we were engaged and wedding planning with our flower girl.
Well we have now celebrated a few birthdays for Lavinnia but this last time we did it as Mr. and Mrs.
We wanted a special way to commemorate the important role our matchmaker & flower girl played. We got sparkly earrings that matched mine from Hillberg & Berk and had a handkerchief with a poem made for her from Wedding Hankie Prose. The morning of the wedding I read the poem to her and her mother (the brains behind our setup). The pictures below were captured by Double Windsor Photography and the video was documented by Montoto Productions.
To the family that brought us together; thank you for the miracle that is your family and now mine.
XOXO
The Mr. & Amanda
